Chronotek collects information your company, associates, or contractors provide to us. We collect information when you sign up for a free trial account, fill out a form, request customer support via chat, place a phone call, send mail, or otherwise communicate with us. We may collect your name, email, address, contact phone number, payment information and any other information you choose to provide. We do not sell or share this information with any other entities, except as required by law.

Information Collected By Services

Upon access or use of our Services, the system collects information on the users. This information is used to safeguard our system, and for necessary use of our system.

Use Data – We have access to the IP address and the Internet browser used, the timestamp, and screens viewed.

HTTP Cookies and Website Data – We use various technologies to help personalize the user navigation experience on the websites, including cookies (information stored on your computer with past website navigation). Like most web-based services, Chronotek uses cookies for user sign-in, preferences, and usage, and may not function if cookies are disabled. Some Services may collect information using web beacons (tracking pixels), that help determine view rates and usage of web services or email.

Other Data Collection – We may collect data from other sources where users request more information, such as a contact form or chat information collected on our marketing website.

GPS/Location Data

We collect GPS or location data only while employees are actively "on the clock" and being paid by the company. This tracking is enabled via our mobile applications to ensure accurate timekeeping and job tracking. Location tracking begins when an employee clocks in and stops immediately upon clocking out. Consent for GPS tracking is requested when the app is first installed and can be changed at any time through the device's location settings. If location services are turned off, certain features of the application may not function properly.

Protection Of The Use Of Data

We are committed to protecting the data users provide. General uses of the data are to provide service provision, authenticate and identify users, product improvements, customer service contacts, analysis and research for the betterment of user experience and needs, anonymous and cumulative reporting.

Disclosure And Data Sharing

Chronotek will never sell or lease your personal information. Chronotek does provide information, to carry out work on your behalf, with other affiliates of our service. Generally, Chronotek will not share your personal data without your consent, except under extenuating circumstances. Chronotek may need to respond to a request for information disclosure in accordance with: subpoenas, warrants, or any applicable law or regulation, or if circumstances arise where users’ actions are subject to suspicion, inconsistent use of services, potential threats to Chronotek or any persons, or actual illegal activities. We will notify you if we need to transfer information about you in the event of a merger or acquisition of our business. We may combine anonymous data with similar customer data, that is not personally identifiable, for statistical and data usage sharing.

Account Setup

Account Contacts – From your Chronotek account you may change your contact information at any time. Please note that your identifiable information may remain in the Service’s records for a period of time, or as required by law, or for legitimate business purposes.

Location Tracking – When users install any of our mobile applications that collect location information, user’s consent is requested. Consent can be changed at any time by changing the preferences on the mobile device, or if using a carrier’s cell locator, by texting ‘Stop’ to the periodic text location notifications. If users turn off location services by any method, our mobile applications, or certain features thereof, will indicate the services have been denied.

Announcements and Communications – You may receive administrative messages or emails concerning instruction, data analytics, or service update information considered part of your Chronotek account. Optionally, you may opt out of receiving promotional communications not related to your account.

Analytics Collection

We may contract with analytics services to collect information on our Services to better understand and analyze the usage of our websites and needs for our Services. Technologies used may include cookies and web beacons that collect information including your IP address, web browser, click-through path and rate, links clicked and conversion information.
